Role Description The Accounting Supervisor is a full-time role based in Charlotte, NC with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for some work from home. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including preparation and review of journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and timely month-end and year-end closings. The Accounting Supervisor will manage the preparation of financial statements and reports, monitor compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with tax and advisory teams as needed. The role includes supervising and mentoring accounting staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and consistency, and supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls. The Accounting Supervisor will also communicate with clients on accounting matters, help resolve issues, and contribute to delivering high-quality, responsive service. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret data, support decision-making, and identify variances and trends. Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to prepare, review, and present accurate and timely reports. Candidates should possess proficiency with Accounting Software and related tools (e.g., QuickBooks, cloud-based ERP systems, Excel) to manage and automate accounting processes. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred. Experience supervising accounting staff in a public accounting or corporate environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, maintain confidentiality, uphold professional ethics, and communicate clearly with clients and team members. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax concepts relevant to small and middle-market businesses, and experience with payroll and bookkeeping processes is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
