Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with clients directly in both virtual and face-to-face interactions, providing assessments and therapy for those experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address the unique needs of clients, ensuring that treatments are tailored based on their specific circumstances.

• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings to determine the necessity for more comprehensive assessments and create individualized care plans that integrate various support services.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention assistance and implement effective strategies for managing acute situations that may arise in the school setting.

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other health professionals to enhance and coordinate services for client care and facilitate informative workshops and resources for the community.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with our organizational guidelines and ethical standards.

This role focuses on a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents who face various psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.

• A current, valid LCSW license in Virginia (or eligible for licensure in Virginia).
