Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional well-being, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic tools.

• Formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific needs, goals, and challenges, ensuring active collaboration with clients throughout the process.

• Deliver engaging individual therapy sessions for diverse age groups, addressing a wide array of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication skills, resolving conflicts, and building stronger relationships.

• Maintain accurate records, including detailed progress notes and therapeutic interventions, ensuring documentation meets all legal and ethical standards.

• Regularly review and adapt treatment plans in response to clients' progress and evolving needs, providing timely modifications to ensure effective care.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, utilizing your skills to de-escalate critical situations and ensure client safety.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers to deliver integrated care, ensuring clients have comprehensive support during their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on serving a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Your ability to connect and empathize with clients of diverse backgrounds and experiences is paramount. You will be expected to utilize your therapeutic skills to create a safe and trusting environment for clients, helping them navigate their emotional and psychological challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related discipline is required.

• An active and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the State of Illinois is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience providing individual and/or couples therapy is essential.

• Strong skills in timely documentation and the ability to learn and utilize electronic health record systems efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
