Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, enabling you to balance your professional and personal commitments effectively. Although the core work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine patients' needs and devise personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailored to the individual, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions to address prevalent mental health concerns and nurture community among participants.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's well-being are considered.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, skillfully managing high-pressure situations to ensure patient safety.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation that complies with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders along with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated capability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and create effective treatment strategies.

• Proficient in delivering both individual and group therapy across diverse populations.

• Strong ethical judgment and understanding of the professional boundaries necessary in therapeutic relationships.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer technologies.
