Accounts Payable Specialist

Topaz, a leading Nursing Home Financial Services company based in Mill Basin, Brooklyn, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests accurately and efficiently. Review invoices for proper approval, coding, and documentation. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. Maintain accurate AP records and ensure timely payments. Collaborate with facility administrators and corporate accounting to support financial operations. Assist with month-end close and reporting. Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Qualifications Experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting (healthcare or multi-facility environment preferred). Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
