Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for students, understanding their mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources.

• Provide individualized, family, and group therapy utilizing recognized evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Develop customized treatment plans that include clear goals tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring their progression and safety.

• Implement therapeutic interventions and facilitate both group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes to equip students with coping skills and emotional regulation strategies.

• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Respond to crisis situations with immediate intervention strategies, conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans to ensure student welfare.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all sessions and interventions in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and proper reporting.

• Engage in professional development and training to enhance clinical skills, staying updated on the latest therapeutic practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students within the school environment, aged K-12, who are facing various mental health challenges. Your role will be pivotal in identifying students in need of support, offering therapeutic services that cater to their unique backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
