Mindful Walkway Counseling & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this pivotal role, you will work primarily with families and young children within a supportive, remote hospice environment, delivering essential services aimed at enhancing child development and family support.

Work Environment\n

This position allows you to work remotely, offering flexibility and a positive work-life balance while engaging with families in a hospice setting. Your contributions will play a key role in the welfare of infants and toddlers, particularly in developmental areas crucial during a child’s formative years.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to gauge children's developmental needs.
\n
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child and family.
\n
• Monitor and assess outcomes to ensure effective intervention and adjustments as necessary.
\n
• Provide vital emotional support to families, connecting them with resources and strategies that align with their child's developmental goals.
\n
• Administer assessments per federal and state regulations while ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
\n
• Establish trusting relationships with children and families to foster a conducive environment for learning and growth.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment practices to enhance service delivery.
\n
• Develop joint plans with clients and recommend frequency of services in relation to family priorities and child development stages.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will especially focus on infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. You will play a vital role in early intervention, helping these young patients acquire essential physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills during their critical learning periods.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work is required.
\n
• A valid LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health is mandatory.
\n
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain reliable transportation for travel to client homes as necessary.
\n
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, necessary to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
\n
• Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients, families, and team members.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

\n
• At least one year of experience providing support to children in early intervention settings.
\n
• A proven commitment to applying Natural Learning Environment Practices is highly desirable.
\n
• Bilingual capabilities are encouraged to best serve our diverse community.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a rich benefits package, including:
