Work Environment\n

The role is primarily remote, allowing our therapists to work flexibly while delivering high-quality care. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility in hours to accommodate the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to comprehensively understand patients' individual experiences and craft tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address a variety of mental health concerns, ensuring approaches are responsive to cultural contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on empowering patients to overcome challenges and foster resilience.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care that encompasses all aspects of a patient's mental health journey.

• Provide crisis intervention by delivering immediate support and developing safety plans for patients in acute distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorder management, available treatment options, and community resources that promote recovery and well-being.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to continuously enhance service delivery.

• Stay informed about current research and best practices in the mental health field to ensure the application of the most effective therapeutic modalities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a current, valid professional license, such as LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW, recognized in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of a wide range of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, along with a commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Proficiency in delivering both individual and group therapy using culturally responsive interventions tailored to client's needs and backgrounds.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with proven ability to maintain composure and respond effectively in high-stress situations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse populations to build trust-based therapeutic relationships.

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient care effectively.
\n
• A commitment to ethical practice, maintaining professional boundaries, and upholding patient confidentiality.

• A collaborative spirit, eager to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a multicultural outpatient setting or direct experience in providing therapy to underserved populations is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with community resources and programs that support mental health treatment, particularly within Nashville.

Compensation and Benefits\n
