We deliver effective and efficient customized freight solutions to a multitude of industries.Under the direction of the VP of Client Relations, the Logistics Coordinator will handle the day-to-day operations of a dedicated customer. This individual will manage daily operations within Truckload, LTL and other customer service duties. This role calls for a strong communicator and multi-tasker who is adaptable, resilient, and eager to tackle unfamiliar problems. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, with exceptional time management and organizational skills, and communicates effectively by phone, email, and in person with staff, customers, and carriers.Responsibilities:Resolve customer service problems by determining the cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, and expediting correction or adjustment, delivering excellent service throughout processServe as a point of contact for dedicated customers, assisting with several tasks related to the dedicated client as well as the carriers in their programBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriersServe as a point of escalation for customer and carrier issuesProvide after-hours support to carriers, customers, staff, and vendors as necessaryProvide continuous follow-up on customer issues to ensure timely resolutionOperations:Overall daily operations for FTL and LTL customer ordersManage incoming calls and emails, and assist in managing a shipping queueRoute shipments cradle to grave for both LTL, FTL, and other modes including building Bills of Lading, labels, load tenders, and following through with each order for the entirety of the shipment lifespanTrack and trace shipments across various carrier sites and freight companiesCompliance and understanding of various TFM platforms, including our FTL system as well as our TMSFile and resolve claims:Maintain documentation to ensure compliance standards are metMaintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding rates, customers, and other proprietary informationPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualifications: Working knowledge of LTL, Full Truckload, Intermodal, and Rail transportation modes Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of high school diploma or GED, bachelor's preferredMinimum of 2 years' experience requiredAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of both customer and carrier's organizationsProblem solving and strong organizational skills with attention to detailHighly motivated with an ability to work independently as well as in a group settingMust have excellent phone and email communication skills and ability to multitask and assist clients after hours.Solid understanding of MS Office, Windows, and basic business softwareLogistics Coordinator Range: $45,000 - $55,000 TFM is an equal employment opportunity employer.
