Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a well-established anesthesia team in a community hospital setting located in the Midwest region of the United States. This role involves providing personalized anesthesia care across a variety of patient types, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in a supportive team environment that values autonomy and collaboration.

Department Overview

The anesthesia practice covers multiple regional communities and offers a diverse case mix including joint programs, robotics, endoscopy, pulmonary, and cath lab procedures. The team consists of experienced CRNAs and anesthesiologists working together to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
• Perform anesthesia-related procedures under anesthesiologist supervision
• Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
• Provide sedation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation management
• Monitor patients using invasive and noninvasive techniques
• Manage post-anesthesia care and discharge

Education and Experience

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
• Eligible for medical malpractice insurance as required by state regulations

Licensure and Certifications

• Current registered nurse licensure in the applicable state
• Compliance with all relevant state statutory and regulatory requirements
