Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to early childhood students in a supportive educational environment. This role focuses on maternity leave coverage across two locations, offering both full-time and part-time options based on your preference and availability.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active SLP license for the state of Michigan is required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience supporting early childhood populations strongly preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience is beneficial
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various school settings
• No SLPAs or VOCO participation accepted for this role

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to early childhood students, fostering communication and language development
• Conduct thorough assessments and interpret results to shape individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Complete timely and accurate documentation for therapy sessions, progress reports, and IEP goals
• Effectively manage a caseload in either a full-time setting (Stockbridge) or part-time (Dansville), ensuring high-quality service across environments
• Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to multidisciplinary planning

Role Details:

• Two opportunities covering a maternity leave (one full-time in Stockbridge and one part-time in Dansville)
• Service period runs from December 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027
