Work Environment

The physical therapist will operate primarily in a home care setting, where they will deliver personalized therapy services directly to patients in their residences in Henderson and its surroundings. This onsite role requires a thorough understanding of how to assess and implement treatment plans effectively in various home environments, adapting therapy methods to maximize patient engagement and comfort. The physical therapist will work flexible hours, typically 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three days a week, providing the potential for a balanced personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical and functional capacities while considering their orthopedic conditions, including both acute and chronic injuries.
• Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans that align with the diverse needs and functional goals of each patient.
• Utilize specialized techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to reduce pain and improve mobility outcomes for patients, ensuring each treatment session is tailored to individual progress.
• Educate patients on effective movement mechanics, home exercise modalities, and preventive strategies to enhance their recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate seamlessly with orthopedic physicians and healthcare staff, sharing insights and strategies to create a holistic care plan that addresses all aspects of a patient's rehabilitation.
• Keep accurate and detailed patient records using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with best practices in orthopedic physical therapy.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada is required.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution is essential.

• Proficient in developing and executing patient-specific treatment plans that foster recovery, drawing from evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
