Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' strengths, challenges, and needs, laying the groundwork for effective treatment.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies for individuals and families.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including medical staff and addiction specialists, to create and coordinate personalized treatment plans that enhance holistic care.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and assist them in navigating community resources to promote access to social services, housing, and employment support.

• Document all client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes comprehensively in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity of care.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case conferences to share insights and strategies, enhancing your clinical acumen and contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on clients encountering significant emotional and psychological challenges during detoxification. You will work with a diverse population, including individuals with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and their families, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing and recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in providing clinical social work services, specifically in mental health or substance use settings
