Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and environmental hurdles, using standardized tools and interviews to gather pertinent information.

• Develop and implement individualized service plans based on assessment findings, incorporating therapeutic goals, intervention strategies, and continuous progress evaluation.

• Provide individual and family counseling in a supportive and empathetic manner, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of each client.

• Collaborate actively with clients to ensure their service plans align with their aspirations and connect them to relevant community resources for additional support.

• Engage in crisis intervention and risk assessment, providing immediate support and safety planning in high-stress scenarios.

• Work effectively with community agencies to coordinate services and advocate for clients, ensuring seamless access to necessary resources.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives, promoting awareness of available services and the importance of mental health in school settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on students in local schools who are grappling with a range of challenges including, but not limited to, homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health issues, and socio-economic instability. Your work will significantly impact the lives of these individuals and their families, providing them tools and resources needed for overcoming barriers and achieving their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, providing a strong foundation in clinical practice and ethical standards.
