Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility while maintaining a robust support system. Therapists will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams virtually, ensuring integrated care for our clients. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., promoting a healthy work-life balance conducive to both personal well-being and professional excellence.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients through comprehensive evaluations.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Educate and empower clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-up assessments and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, integrated care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain thorough, confidential, and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, engage in team meetings, and seek out professional development opportunities to further your expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals coping with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also engage with diverse client groups, including homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic violence, ensuring your therapeutic approach is culturally sensitive and inclusive.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to establish secure and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
