Today, answering critical clinical and commercial questions is slow because rich clinical data is siloed across health systems, academic institutions, and private practices. Our platform transforms this complex real‑world data into research-ready datasets and rapid insights for life sciences partners, while protecting patient privacy and supporting the research community. Responsibilities As the Founding Business Development Lead at Century Health, you will be responsible for building and executing our go‑to‑market strategy, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with the CEO and other team members to refine our sales approach, build the pipeline, and close deals that fuel the company’s rapid growth. Own and drive the business development strategy to grow our collaborations with life sciences organizations. Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, ensuring a seamless and high‑touch experience for potential customers. Build relationships with key stakeholders in life sciences companies to understand their needs and align Century Health’s solutions with their goals. Work closely with the founders and cross‑functionally with design, engineering, and operations teams to infuse the customer voice into our roadmap, ensure a smooth onboarding, and drive customer success. Attend and represent Century Health at conferences and industry meetings to generate leads, build brand awareness, and move the pipeline forward. Optimize and refine our GTM playbook, ensuring that we learn and iterate quickly based on customer feedback and market dynamics. Track and analyze key sales metrics, providing insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness in business development efforts. Take a hands‑on approach to growth. This is an early‑stage role, and you will be responsible for both strategy and execution, and at times implementation and customer success. As we scale in the future, recruit, manage and nurture a top‑tier BD team. Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Sales, or Consulting. Track record of selling software and data solutions to life sciences companies is highly preferred. A natural connector with exceptional relationship‑building and negotiation skills, with a consultative approach to sales. Ability to own the sales pipeline, from outbound prospecting to closing deals. Comfortable with ambiguity and excited about building sales processes from scratch in a fast‑moving startup environment. Data‑driven approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to compellingly convey our value proposition and complex technical concepts. Ability to work collaboratively across functions to deliver seamless customer experiences. Willing to travel for conferences, meetings, and customer visits as needed.
