Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms related to mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. This involves detailed discussions to understand the patient's history, symptoms, and overall mental health.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans focused on their specific goals and recovery needs. This includes reassessing and modifying plans based on progress and feedback.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) during therapy sessions, ensuring approaches align with the latest research and clinical guidelines.

• Provide educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families, facilitating discussions about treatment options and strategies for coping with mood disorders.

• Regularly monitor client progress through structured follow-up sessions, documenting any changes in symptoms and adapting treatment plans accordingly to maximize effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, specifically working with mood disorders.

• Proven expertise in evidence-based modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
