This role is positioned within a remote work setting, but you will be integrated into a robust community health clinic model that emphasizes collaboration among dedicated professionals. We encourage flexibility in scheduling with our clients, encompassing a typical workweek from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for clients, utilizing a variety of evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to develop customized treatment plans that address each client's specific needs.

• Implement therapeutic interventions effectively, adjusting techniques and modalities based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

• Maintain diligent documentation of clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality and security of client information.

• Engage in proactive collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case consultations and peer review meetings to collectively enhance the quality of care provided.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources to foster a supportive network around each individual.

• Stay updated with the latest mental health research and advancements to continually inform your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse clientele who seek support through various mental health challenges, including but not limited to trauma recovery, anxiety disorders, and depressive states. You will play a key role in helping clients navigate their struggles, fostering personal growth and resilience while promoting their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York state.

• Strong application of solution-focused therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the individual needs of clients.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
