Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, developing rapport and maintaining professional boundaries while implementing best practices in therapy.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, discuss stability, outline treatment plans, and facilitate discharge when appropriate.

• Create, monitor, and adjust personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client, emphasizing person-centered care.

• Document all client interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing progress notes for each session.
\n
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to establish a clear understanding of each client’s mental health history and treatment needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, unrestricted, and independent Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in Virginia.

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.

• Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with specific populations, such as children or high-risk mental health cases, is preferred. Familiarity with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) would be advantageous.
