Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that account for cultural variables to develop tailored treatment plans for patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring they align with each patient’s unique cultural and personal context.

• Provide one-on-one, family, and group therapy sessions focused on addressing mental health challenges and enhancing resilience.

• Collaborate with a wide range of healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, including making referrals as necessary.

• Deliver crisis intervention services to assist clients during acute mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques as required.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, including an understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and cultural competence.

• Experience in providing culturally responsive therapy, including both individual and group modalities.
\n
• High-level crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to form trust-based relationships with diverse populations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and modern computer applications relevant to clinical practice.
