This position is unique in that it allows for remote work within an outpatient office framework. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that delve into the cognitive, emotional, and physical health of older adults, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be the geriatric population, who often experience multifaceted mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, dementia, and adjustment disorders. You will be instrumental in creating effective strategies to manage these disorders, thereby significantly improving the quality of life for elderly clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a remote team, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills.

• Experience in geriatrics or a strong interest in this specialty area is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
