Estate Litigation Attorney — Trusts, Estates & Fiduciary Disputes

Milvidskiy Law Group P.C. is seeking an experienced attorney to join our trusts and estates litigation practice. Named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list , our firm is expanding, and we’re looking for an attorney who wants to help shape that growth.

This opportunity combines substantive litigation, direct client relationships, and room for professional advancement. You’ll handle disputes involving estates, trusts, and fiduciary responsibilities, working with clients whose financial interests and family relationships often intersect. Strong advocacy, practical judgment, and thoughtful communication are essential to the role.

The work

You’ll represent executors, administrators, trustees, beneficiaries, and other interested parties in matters involving:

• Will and trust contests, including disputes concerning capacity and undue influence.
• Breach of fiduciary duty, fiduciary removal, and surcharge claims.
• Contested accountings and disputes over estate and trust administration.
• Will and trust interpretation and disputes concerning distributions and beneficiary rights.
• Contested guardianship and related proceedings.

Your responsibilities will include developing case strategy, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, appearing in court, and representing clients through mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial. You’ll manage matters with appropriate independence while collaborating with our attorneys and paralegals.

What we’re looking for

• Active admission and good standing in both New Jersey and New York .
• At least five years of substantive civil litigation experience , with trusts and estates, probate, or fiduciary litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience managing cases through discovery, motion practice, and court proceedings.
• The ability to assess the strengths, risks, and economics of a case and communicate those considerations clearly to clients.
• Strong organization, consistent follow-through, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Professionalism, sound judgment, and an empathetic approach to sensitive client matters.
