Executive Sous Chef

Role Overview Sodexo is seeking an Executive SousChef for Ingleside at Rock Creek in Washington, DC . This upscale continuing care retirement community is located on 14‑wooded and landscaped acres bordering Washington, DC's beautiful Rock Creek Park. Ideal candidate will have previous cooking and catering experience in either a restaurant, corporate or senior living setting. Ability to work flexible hours, with a schedule of 11 am – 8 pm preferred. Learn more about Ingleside at Rock Creek: What You’ll Do Have oversight of food production; work collaboratively with the Executive Chef; Be hands‑on, will cook daily (80%); Will train and mentor cooks; Deliver high quality food service while maintaining client and resident relationships; Ensure Sodexo Standards are met. What You Bring Previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; Food production experience with a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; Proficiency in computer skills.
