Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Matawan, New Jersey, where you will work closely within a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to orthopedic rehabilitation. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and resources, providing an optimal setting for patient care and professional development. You will work a standard schedule of 40 hours per week, with variable weekend shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Life Scape PT Service, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient examinations and evaluations to identify functional limitations and disabilities.
• Developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with each patient, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
• Providing ongoing consultation to healthcare providers to ensure seamless continuity of care for patients.
• Implementing treatment strategies that promote recovery while adhering to our customer service standards and cultural sensitivity.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evaluations.
• Engaging with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and support staff, to enhance patient outcomes through collaborative care.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides, to ensure effective delivery of care.
• Participating in community outreach, continuing education programs, and leadership functions within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve orthopedic patients dealing with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Typical patient cases may include post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and stability training for older adults. You will have the opportunity to engage with diverse populations and ensure that treatment is tailored to meet the cultural and personal preferences of every patient.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and patient interaction.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
