The ideal candidate will receive an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.

Work Environment

This position is set in a home care environment, allowing you to provide therapy sessions in the client's home, a more personal and accessible setting. Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist will be responsible for a range of critical tasks including:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess patient needs by reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and establishing personalized treatment recommendations.
• Communicating evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, fostering their involvement in goal setting to enhance their rehabilitation journey.
• Implementing tailored treatment protocols based on individual assessments and continuously adapting these protocols as patient conditions evolve.
• Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams as needed, documenting any changes in patient conditions that may necessitate adjustments in care plans.
• Completing timely discharge planning and ensuring well-structured follow-up care, while documenting all patient-related activities accurately to reflect the progression and outcomes of care.
• Maintaining effective time management practices, ensuring punctuality for scheduled patient sessions and team meetings, while meeting departmental productivity expectations.
• Engaging in organizational initiatives, including marketing activities to promote health resource access to the wider community.
• Contributing to the overarching goals and objectives of the department, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Taking the lead on personal continuing education, while also serving as a clinical instructor for students seeking hands-on experience in physical therapy.
• Championing excellent customer service through proactive communication and responsiveness to patient needs and inquiries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves a diverse patient population ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to individuals recovering from injuries or chronic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with clients of various ages and backgrounds, providing personalized care that addresses both physical rehabilitation and emotional support, hence promoting overall well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

While previous work experience is not required, candidates with experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or home care settings will have an advantage due to the specialized nature of this role.
