Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including comprehensive history review and specific assessments, to formulate individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, incorporating their insights into goal setting.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols adjusted to the specific needs and progress of each patient, ensuring adherence to current healthcare guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with physicians and other healthcare practitioners as necessary to ensure optimized patient care.
• Document patient interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate records of evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge plans to reflect the patient's journey and outcomes effectively.
• Manage your schedule to meet productivity goals while ensuring timely participation in team meetings and marketing efforts to promote the clinic's services.
• Contribute to department initiatives, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Pursue continuing education opportunities to expand your knowledge and enhance your skills, serving as a mentor or clinical instructor to students as needed.
• Engage in activities aimed at improving access to care, addressing patient barriers, and promoting overall patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists primarily work with a diverse range of patients requiring rehabilitation due to sports injuries, post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and various musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy and commitment to personalized care, developing rapport with patients and their families to facilitate successful recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the State of New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience

• While two years of relevant experience is preferred, candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply, as we are open to providing mentorship to talented newcomers.

Compensation and Benefits
