Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Breathe, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients with various orthopedic conditions to assess functional limitations and pain.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Leading patient education sessions to inform them and their families about therapeutic exercises and expected outcomes.
• Engaging with physicians and healthcare providers to discuss patient care plans and progress, ensuring a continuum of care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes according to established legal and professional standards.
• Participating in community outreach programs and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care.
• Supervising support staff, including physical therapy aides and students, to promote a learning environment.
• Staying updated on best practices and advancements in physical therapy through continuous education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with adults facing various orthopedic challenges, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and mobility impairments. Your expertise in understanding diverse patient backgrounds will enable you to deliver compassionate care that respects cultural differences and individual needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
