Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, requiring our Physical Therapists to visit patients in their own homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patients' medical histories and performing necessary assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families while actively involving them in goal-setting exercises.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to the patient's unique needs and adapt as their health status requires, demonstrating up-to-date clinical practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, recognizing when patient conditions change, and communicate effectively to adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and promptly, ensuring continuity of care with well-organized daily encounter notes and discharge summaries.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity standards while maintaining an organized schedule to ensure timely patient visits.
• Participate in outreach initiatives aimed at increasing community awareness of available services, enhancing organizational visibility and patient access to care.
• Commit to ongoing personal and professional development, including mentorship opportunities for students and new hires, enhancing the overall clinical expertise within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Refresh & Motion, you will focus on a diverse patient population. Our clients range from post-operative individuals seeking rehabilitation to seniors requiring mobility assistance, each presenting unique challenges that contribute to our patients' overall health journey. Understanding that every patient's recovery process is different, you will employ a tailored approach to rehabilitative care, placing significant emphasis on personalized patient engagement and motivational strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid physical therapy license from the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• A commitment to continuing education and staying abreast of the latest trends and treatments in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is preferred, we value the passion for providing care as much as tenure. We are eager to consider candidates who are recently graduated from a DPT program and have demonstrated a willingness to learn and adapt to clinical environments.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, inclusive of various benefits aimed at promoting your health and wellness.
