SERVPRO of Highland Park is hiring an Administrative Assistant! Quick hire!!!

As an Administrative Assistant, you would be asked to assist office teammates and all customers by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, text and e-mail, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

  • Answer incoming phone calls, text messages, emails and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters regarding claims and build positive relationship
  • Schedule jobs and maintain job calendars
  • Prepare and manage job files, including documentation for insurance claims
  • Communicate effectively with field staff, vendors, and customers
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and payment tracking/collecting
  • Perform detailed and accurate data entry
  • Provide administrative support to management as needed

Position requirements include 1+ years of previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role (water/fire damage restoration, construction, or insurance industry experience is a MUST), bilingual English/Spanish is a PLUS, proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets and general computer skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, high school diploma/GED (preferred); Associate's degree preferred, holding a valid California driver license is a MUST.

This is a role in a fast-paced office environment. Some filing is required which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary. Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law is a MUST.

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
