Job Title: Bilingual Patient Services Representative
Position Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual Patient Services Representative to join a high-volume healthcare contact center team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients, insurance providers, medical facilities, and vendors, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting appointment scheduling, registration, and patient communication functions.
Required Qualifications

• Spanish/English bilingual proficiency required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare-related environments.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Exceptional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-call-volume setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute with 90% accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls from patients, insurance providers, and healthcare facilities.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed.
• Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Document patient communications accurately within electronic systems.
• Route calls and messages to appropriate departments.
• Maintain a high level of customer service while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Build positive relationships with patients and colleagues through effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Spanish/English bilingual required.
• Minimum of 3 years of customer service, call center, or healthcare experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with 90% accuracy.

Work Environment:

• 100% onsite.
• High-volume healthcare contact center.
• Training schedule typically begins between 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with a regular schedule of 10:00 AM-6:00 PM following training.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
