Role Description The Bookkeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in High Point, NC. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts. The Bookkeeper prepares and reviews basic financial statements, assists with month-end closing activities, and ensures that records are organized for internal use and external reporting. Day-to-day tasks include working within QuickBooks, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments, monitoring expenses, and coordinating with management on budgeting and financial questions. The role also involves supporting auditors or external accountants with documentation and contributing to process improvements for efficient financial operations. Qualifications Strong Bookkeeping skills, including accurate recording of transactions and maintenance of ledgers. Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. Proficiency with QuickBooks and related Finance tools used for day-to-day operations. Ability to create, post, and reconcile Journal Entries (Accounting) in accordance with standard practices. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and internal controls. Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience in a manufacturing or service environment is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
