Executive Assistant, AWS Supply Chain at Amazon Seattle, WA

DESCRIPTION The AWS Supply Chain team within AWS Applied AI Solutions is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to support two Directors. The Executive Assistant will act as an extension of the leaders and will work closely with the AWS Supply Chain Lead Executive Assistant and other Executive Assistants throughout the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization. As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of critical activities including complex calendar management, tracking key deliverables, coordinating travel and expenses, and organizing team activities and events (such as all-team meetings and employee engagement activities). Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating meeting agendas, space planning, and ad hoc project coordination. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to act as an extension of our leaders in partnership with a supportive and collaborative EA community. Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams. Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for special projects with increased responsibility and long-term career growth. Please note this is an in-office position requiring 5 days onsite on Amazon's SLU Campus; remote work is not currently supported. Key job responsibilities Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars Management of complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive's tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders Travel coordination (international and domestic) Participate in planning of events and drive key team activities (staff meetings, all-team meetings, supply ordering) Work alongside other executive assistants within the org and throughout AWS Applied AI Solutions to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficiencies A day in the life: Every day is different, but a typical day will involve managing a high volume of email, working with other Executive Assistants to schedule complex meetings, and partnering closely with executives and their business partners on projects and initiatives. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
