Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our organization, your responsibilities will include:

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The predominant focus of this role is on individuals grappling with the aftermath of traumatic experiences. Your work will involve engaging with diverse patient backgrounds and addressing various mental health challenges, predominantly PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role involves working closely with individuals who require sensitive and knowledgeable care as they navigate their paths toward healing.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma.

• Thorough knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, exhibiting compassion and a non-judgmental attitude.

• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.

Preferred Experience\n

While the mandatory experience includes at least two years post-licensure, candidates with additional certifications in trauma therapies or specialized training in trauma-focused interventions will be given preference.
