Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Redeemer Physical Therapy, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical abilities and determining appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions across various specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Engage in ongoing patient education and training, empowering individuals and their caregivers to participate actively in the rehabilitation process.
• Demonstrate excellence in customer service while contributing to a positive clinic environment, ensuring each patient feels valued and cared for.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance patient outcomes through shared knowledge and multi-disciplinary treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will encounter a diverse array of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, children with developmental delays, and adults who have suffered neurological conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and general computer skills to document patient care and outcomes.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy is required, candidates with additional specialized experience in areas such as sports rehabilitation or pediatric therapy will be highly regarded.
