We're looking for a driven Business Development Representative to help grow a leading student-focused digital platform's partnerships with fashion and beauty brands across the US.

This is an opportunity to get in front of well-known brands and emerging names, build relationships with key decision-makers and show them how to connect with the next generation of consumers: Gen Z.

You'll play a key role in opening doors to new business, creating opportunities and building a pipeline of future partnerships. If you're proactive, resilient and motivated by targets, this is your chance to make an impact in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

What you'll be doing

• Identify and research exciting US fashion and beauty brands to approach as potential partners.
• Build a strong new business pipeline through proactive outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone and other channels.
• Connect with decision-makers across marketing, e-commerce, growth, media and partnerships.
• Understand brands' commercial goals and demonstrate how the platform can help them reach and engage Gen Z.
• Qualify prospects and arrange meaningful conversations for the Business Development team.
• Track activity, manage your pipeline and use CRM data to improve your results.
• Work towards activity, meeting and pipeline targets, with a focus on consistently creating new opportunities.
• Share market insights and feedback to help shape future sales strategies.
• Collaborate with the wider commercial team to support business growth across the US.

What we're looking for

• Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, retail, media, advertising or another target-driven environment is beneficial.
• A natural communicator who can build rapport and engage confidently with new people.
• A proactive approach to prospecting, with the resilience to handle rejection and keep moving forward.
• A genuine interest in the US fashion and beauty industry and the brands shaping it.
• Commercial curiosity and the ability to understand what matters to a business.
• Someone who is organised, accountable and comfortable working towards measurable targets.
• A coachable attitude, with the ambition to learn, develop and continuously improve.
• Creativity, initiative and the confidence to try new approaches to generate opportunities.
