Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, paying careful attention to the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Working collaboratively with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that consider their unique needs, aspirations, and preferences.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored specifically for the treatment of mood disorders.

• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methods, and self-care techniques that empower them in their mental health journey.

• Monitoring client progress on an ongoing basis and adapting treatment plans as necessary to align with their evolving therapeutic needs.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, including medication management when applicable.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
