Human Resource Specialist

Position Summary The Human Resources Specialist manages data integrity, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 3-6 months, mainly supporting Compliance. Job Responsibilities The Human Resources Specialist assists in the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs. Duties include maintaining and auditing team member records within HRIS systems to ensure data accuracy, report preparation, database administration, and employee communication. The Specialist serves as a resource for management and team members on issues related to a specific HR function. The position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of HR experience, with a strong background in HRIS or Compliance. Prior experience in a healthcare environment is a plus. Well‑developed interpersonal, written communication skills, and computer literacy required, particularly in Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe. Performance Expectations Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool. Work Environment Potential exposure to hazards and risks of the hospital environment, including infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. Reporting This position reports to department leadership and may supervise incumbents as assigned.
