Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect:
- Own and administer Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
- Design and manage customer data architecture, including data ingestion, identity resolution, audience segmentation, and Customer 360 profiles.
- Execute and optimize end-to-end marketing campaigns, journeys, automations, and personalization initiatives.
- Integrate SFMC and Data Cloud with Salesforce ecosystems and external platforms to enable seamless data exchange.
- Monitor platform health, data pipelines, campaign performance, and proactively resolve operational issues.
- Govern user access, security, privacy controls, consent management, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Provide actionable insights through audience analytics, calculated insights, reporting, and performance measurement.
- Partner with business, technology, and vendor teams to deliver scalable marketing solutions while maintaining platform stability.
- Maintain technical documentation, support users, and drive platform adoption through training and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration and campaign management experience.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Customer 360, data modeling, segmentation, and identity resolution.
- Strong expertise in Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and multi-BU environments.
- Proficiency in SQL, SOQL, AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration frameworks.
- Experience with data integration, ETL processes, APIs, and enterprise systems connectivity.
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, deliverability, and marketing operations.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud certifications preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Tableau, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of CDP, MDM, real-time data streaming, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Journey Builder Custom Activities/Components.
- Salesforce development exposure (Apex, Lightning, integrations).
