To apply to this hybrid role please send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Career Advancement Opportunity (This position is expected to advance quickly within the company over the next few months.)Responsibilities:Perform monthly close activities including but not limited to:Review account reconciliations for corporate close, fixed assets, and leasesWork directly with the corporate accountant and shared service center to manage/coordinate month end closePrepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and account recs for the corporate general ledgerField questions/support business unit finance leads with close and consolidation questionsAccounting responsibility for and/or involvement in the following areas:Share-based compensationLIFO inventorySelf-insurance and worker compensation reservesLeasesFixed AssetsOwnership over the corporate ledger and the company’s topside ledgersFocus on corporate controls to ensure proper complianceAssist in coordinating and developing training materials for quarterly global accounting and finance updatesParticipate in and support various process improvement initiatives, including fixed asset and lease process improvementRequirementsRequirements of Candidate:Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably with public accounting experienceKnowledge of ERP and consolidation systems (company uses SL9 for corporate ERP and OneStream for consolidation)Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controlsExperience with public companies and SEC reporting, experience in the manufacturing industry is a plusMust be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask, while maintaining attention to detailProactive self-starter who seeks new challenges and continuous improvement opportunitiesAbility to learn quickly and willingness to dive into new areas To apply to this hybrid role please send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster.Job typePerm
