Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist at Harmony in Motion, you will work primarily in our outpatient office, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and tools to facilitate various therapeutic methodologies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with diverse orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions, establishing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and therapeutic goals.
• Implement diverse treatment strategies, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of physical modalities to effectively relieve pain and improve mobility.
• Document patient progress meticulously through standardized assessments and electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate tracking of patient outcomes and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Regularly reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, contributing to ongoing communication with patients and their families about therapeutic goals and achievements.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and the proper use of assistive devices to foster independence and self-management.
• Engage in professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Harmony in Motion, you will work with a varied patient demographic, including children recovering from sports injuries, adults dealing with post-surgical rehabilitation, and elderly patients addressing age-related mobility challenges. Each patient presents unique circumstances, calling for tailored intervention that advances their individual therapeutic journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred to align with contemporary standards.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with proficiency in computer systems for documentation and patient management.
• Flexible work approach, capable of managing dynamic patient caseloads and adapting to various treatment requirements.

Preferred Experience

We seek candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting. Familiarity with outpatient therapy practices is highly advantageous. Compensation and Benefits
