Position Overview Gentle Motion Physical Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Matawan, New Jersey. In this role, you will apply your expertise to evaluate, plan, and implement treatment strategies for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. You will work closely with patients to enhance their mobility, alleviate pain, and improve their overall quality of life, all while fostering a supportive, collaborative environment.

The physical therapy team operates onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility located in Matawan, NJ. You will work regular hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life approach. Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and resources to facilitate optimal patient care, ensuring that our therapists can provide effective and engaging treatments tailored to individual patient needs.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, assessing physical conditions, and determining appropriate treatment plans.

Implement treatment protocols with proficiency, adapting approaches based on patient needs, progress, and feedback received during each therapy session.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary, maintaining clear documentation of patient progress, changes in condition, and any modifications to the treatment plan.

Develop and execute discharge plans, ensuring patients understand their ongoing care requirements post-therapy, including follow-up appointments and home exercises.

Maintain a high standard of productivity by managing your schedule effectively, attending all required meetings, and participating in community-based marketing initiatives to enhance service visibility.

Provide an excellent customer experience by being flexible and responsive to patient needs, while also actively engaging in initiatives to improve access to care.

Our outpatient clinics serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and patients with chronic pain conditions. You will work with patients of all ages, crafting personalized treatment plans that accommodate their unique circumstances and health goals. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

A valid Physical Therapy license for the state of New Jersey, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

At least 2 years of relevant physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.

Experience with specific therapeutic techniques or modalities relevant to our patient population, such as manual therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, or sports injury management.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and enhance communication with team members.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
