Responsibilities

Our organization is excited to announce the opening of a new facility at 6225 Sharlands Ave. in Northwest Reno, which will enhance our offerings by providing acute rehabilitation and adult behavioral health services.

The acute rehabilitation services we provide encompass occupational, speech, and physical therapy aimed at adults recovering from strokes, injuries, or other disabling conditions. Our advanced treatments cater to a variety of issues, including strokes, brain injuries, amputations, neurological disorders, major traumas, and spinal cord injuries. Patients will enjoy private rooms, access to a newly updated therapy gym, and tailored care from our skilled staff.

Our adult behavioral health services represent an expansion of our existing program for individuals aged 50 and older. The new initiative will cater to all adults aged 18 and above. A multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, CNAs, social workers, and therapists, will manage the department. Patients will benefit from personalized care plans that include individual and family therapy, engaging activities, medication management, and a secure, compassionate environment available 24/7.

This opportunity for a Registered Nurse or LPN is a full-time position within our Acute Rehab Unit, offering comprehensive benefits and a convenient schedule. We seek a passionate Rehab Nurse dedicated to delivering safe and compassionate care in an acute rehabilitation setting. The principles of Patient-Centered Care will underpin all nursing activities, and candidates are expected to exemplify Service Excellence standards consistently.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Engage with patients and their families to assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diverse needs.
• Develop and execute care plans utilizing nursing expertise, integrating both direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnoses and co-morbidities.
• Oversee the execution of the interdisciplinary care plan for assigned patients, establishing goals, treatment strategies, and discharge plans tailored to individual patient and family needs.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited RN program or an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Valid nursing license in Nevada.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
