PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER & COORDINATOR OF SPECIAL PROJECTS
12-Month Position The district is seeking a dynamic and highly organized individual to serve as the Public Information Officer & Coordinator of Special Projects. This position is responsible for overseeing district communications, public relations, and special projects while supporting strong relationships among the schools, families, staff, media, and community. Qualifications
- Degree in communications, journalism, technology, or related field preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative abilities
- Experience with social media and publishing platforms
- Managing district communications and supporting social media
- Preparing publications, press releases, and district materials
- Attending Board of Education meetings and community events
- Supporting crisis communications and public relations efforts
- Highlighting student, staff, and district accomplishments
- Assisting with strategic communication initiatives and special projects
