Work Environment\n

This role may be carried out primarily in a remote setting, however, our outpatient office provides a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for both clients and staff. You will collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team including case managers, psychiatrists, and fellow therapists. Regular business hours are complemented by occasional evening shifts to provide comprehensive care to our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, formulating tailored treatment plans that address individual concerns.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide services to individuals, groups, and families, employing a variety of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.

• Engage in effective collaboration with other professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client care, and attending regular team meetings to discuss cases and strategies.

• Deliver crisis intervention for clients in acute episodes, applying understanding and expertise to provide immediate support and guidance.

• Participate in community outreach programs and health initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma in various communities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse client base encompasses individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This role allows for the development of cultural competence and sensitivity, granting counselors the opportunity to enhance their understanding of community-specific mental health issues while tailoring their approach for effective engagement. You will be helping clients who face a spectrum of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients, showcasing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that cultivate a safe therapeutic environment.

• Proven cultural competency to effectively assist clients from diverse backgrounds, with an emphasis on sensitivity and respect.

• Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail, enabling accurate and timely documentation and case management.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in community mental health settings, particularly with diverse and underrepresented populations, will be considered an asset.

• Knowledge of digital therapy platforms and telehealth best practices is advantageous in adapting to our remote service delivery.

The annual compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
