Work Environment\n

This role operates within a fully remote setting, combining the advantages of telehealth with our core outpatient treatment objectives. As a mental health counselor, you will work Monday through Friday for 40 hours each week, using a range of digital tools and platforms to connect with clients effectively. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual teletherapy sessions with patients, utilizing video-based technology to assess their mental health needs.

• Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations to gather patient history, mental status examination findings, and overall health data.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized behavioral health treatment plans based on assessment results, ensuring evidence-based interventions are utilized to support patient wellness.

• Maintain accurate and secure records of sensitive patient information, including examination results and treatment progress, in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Advocate for the holistic care of patients by actively participating in continuous education and staying informed about innovative psychosocial interventions.

• Engage in meaningful communication with patients to build trust and rapport, enabling them to feel comfortable sharing their experiences and challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. You will play a crucial role in addressing the unique needs of each patient, providing tailored care that not only focuses on immediate concerns but also equips them with tools for long-term mental health resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Art Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are crucial for effective patient engagement.

• A commitment to maintaining continuing education and staying updated on evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Proficiency in using electronic clinical systems to document patient care and progress.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly preferred to enhance communication with our diverse patient demographic.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, providing therapy in an outpatient or community setting is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
