Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to set your own schedule and work from your preferred location. Our telehealth model ensures that you can focus on your clients without the burden of administrative tasks—our team manages marketing, billing, and other operational duties so that you can concentrate on what you do best: providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via secure video conferencing.
• Create a safe and supportive environment for clients to discuss their emotions and experiences.
• Help clients set and achieve therapeutic goals while advocating for their mental health needs.
• Assess client mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and interventions to promote client insight and foster personal growth.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and therapy progress, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities provided by Ascend Medical.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and referral for additional services as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client caseload will consist of stable adults with low acuity mental health concerns, ensuring that you can effectively apply your expertise to support their well-being. Each client undergoes a thorough screening prior to engaging in services, and you will be matched with individuals aligned with your specialties and demographic preferences, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid, full, and active state license to practice independently as a mental health professional, such as:
• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C)
• No provisional or limited licenses will be considered, and applicants must demonstrate a clean professional standing without prior disciplinary actions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using therapy platforms for virtual sessions, documentation, and client communication.
• A strong understanding of evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
