Key Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring an understanding of individual experiences and needs.
• Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions that align with the identified needs and therapeutic goals specified during the assessment.
• Efficiently complete all necessary documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, adhering to specified timeframes to ensure smooth collaboration with healthcare partners.
• Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, and wellness plans to support patients in maintaining stability and preventing relapse, while being available for urgent interventions when required.
• Create effective discharge plans to transition patients out of care, ensuring continuity and support for ongoing mental health needs.
• Strictly follow all current federal and state regulations, alongside NEHS policies and ethical standards related to mental health care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and educational opportunities to maintain and improve clinical skills.
• Participate in case consultations and agency meetings to foster collaborative learning and update on patient progress and treatment strategies.
• Ensure completion of all licensure requirements and mandatory training sessions as determined by state and organizational guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a therapist will directly impact diverse client populations, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and a variety of family dynamics. You will work closely with patients and families to build trust and tailor therapeutic interventions based on their unique cultural backgrounds and lived experiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related discipline that prepares you for licensure.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Pennsylvania is essential for this role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings is preferred, with a strong background in therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or family systems therapy.
• Understanding of community resources and the ability to navigate support systems for clients enhances your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
