Work Environment\n

Our remote work setup is designed to support both flexibility and productivity. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient requirements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and experiences of each patient, ensuring culturally relevant treatment plans are developed.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement therapeutic interventions that are personalized, responsive, and inclusive.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions addressing a variety of mental health issues, promoting resilience and personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid in their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.

• Actively engage in case discussions, team meetings, and ongoing training focused on cultural competency and best practices.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research, treatment modalities, and culturally relevant approaches to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A solid foundation in mental health disorders and treatment modalities, coupled with a strong commitment to cultural competence in therapy practices.

• Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy that is both culturally responsive and inclusive.

• Expertise in crisis intervention and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for developing rapport with a diverse patient base.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to ensure streamlined documentation and patient care.

• A strong commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries in therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While not a requirement, candidates with experience in teletherapy, bilingual abilities, or a specialization in trauma-informed care will be highly favored. Compensation and Benefits\n
