Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 Days In-Office / Remaining Days Remote
Schedule: 24-30 Hours Per Week; Flexible Scheduling Available
Compensation: $26.00-$32.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Specialist to support the day-to-day financial operations of a single-family office. This is a stable, long-term opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working independently in a professional, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records and assist the Controller with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Enter, classify, and record financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle through BILL, including invoice intake, coding, approval routing, and payment scheduling.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and vendor statements on a regular basis.
- Maintain organized vendor records, accounts payable documentation, and supporting financial files.
- Handle incoming financial mail, organize records, and coordinate with management during on-site workdays.
- Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries and payment-status requests.
- Support other bookkeeping and accounting-related tasks as needed.
- 3-4+ years of bookkeeping and/or accounts payable experience.
- Advanced, hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop is required.
- Experience using BILL for invoice processing and vendor payments is required.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage priorities independently in a hybrid work environment.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
