Description

• Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standardized assessments and observational insights.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to both immediate objectives and enduring communication, cognitive, and swallowing requirements.
• Implement personalized speech therapy interventions focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and family members to devise cohesive care plans.
• Provide training to patients and families to enhance progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Engage with occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring consistent care throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Keep thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Stay updated on the latest industry advancements through continuous education and collaborative initiatives.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of hire.
